According to reports, two people were shocked by a lightning strike on Saturday at the St. Charles County Fair.
KPLR-TV in St. Louis reports that lightning that accompanied an early-morning storm hit a tree at the Rotary Park Fairground in Wentzville. The strike sent a shockwave through electrical lines and hit two people.
A report on KMOV.com said the two people sustained "minor" injuries. One person denied treatment and the other was taken to a hospital, but was later released.
No other injuries were reported, according to KMOV.
The lightning strike also hit some campers at the fair and knocked out the PA system, according to KMOV.
