Mexico Road Paving Project Set for Early Tuesday

One eastbound lane of Mexico Road will be closed for asphalt paving operations on Tuesday, Dec. 13, 2011, between Mid Rivers Mall Drive and Grand Teton Drive.

Drivers will be greeted to some road work early Tuesday morning. 

One eastbound lane of Mexico Road will be closed for asphalt paving operations on Tuesday, Dec. 13, 2011, between Mid Rivers Mall Drive and Grand Teton Drive.

The paving work is part of the City of St. Peters’ Mexico Road Widening project. The southernmost eastbound lane on Mexico will be paved on Dec. 13. The lane will be closed from 6 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. Drivers are urged to proceed cautiously through the construction zone.

Expected to be complete in the spring, the Mexico Road Widening project will widen Mexico from four lanes to five lanes between Cross Trail Lane (just west of Grand Teton Drive) and McGavock Drive (St. Peters Post Office) and resurface the road in this area.
