Mid Rivers Mall Accepting Donations for Young Joplin Tornado Victims

In order to support the community of Joplin, CBL St. Louis is coordinating a St. Louis-wide drive at its five malls to collect items for kids affected by the recent tornadoes.

St. Peters residents looking to help out children impacted by the tornadoes in Joplin, MO, can make a trip to Mid Rivers Mall this week.

Five St. Louis-area malls, including Mid Rivers Mall, are collecing items for kids affected by the recent tornadoes. CBL Associates Properties, Inc. owns and operates Northpark Mall located in Joplin, MO. and CBL St. Louis is coordinating the St. Louis-wide effort to collect goods. 

Chesterfield Mall, Mid Rivers Mall, South County Center, St. Clair Square and West County Center will be collection locations for the following items:

  • New and gently-used clothing and shoes (Ages birth – 17)
  • New and gently-used toys
  • New and gently-used books, coloring books and crayons
  • Diapers and Wipes
  • Soap and Shampoo
  • Toothbrushes and Toothpaste
  • Baby Food and Formula
  • Bottles and Sippy Cups
  • Blankets, pillows and sheets

Bins will be set up at customer service collecting the items beginning today, May 24 and continuing until Monday, May 30. Items will be delivered to Joplin next week and distributed to residents through the help of local service agencies.

Shoppers can donate items during regular mall hours at any of the shopping centers. The donations will be accepted at the following locations:
