MoDOT to close section of Harvest Drive on May 23

Roadway will be closed until late July.

The Missouri Department of Transportation and its contractor, Fred Weber Inc., will close a section of Harvest Drive in St. Charles County after morning rush on May 23 to construct a portion of the new north outer road for Route 364. The section of Harvest Drive will reopen by late July.

Crews will close Harvest Drive just west of the signal at Route 94 to just east of Keeney Drive. Drivers will be able to access both Game Day Grill and Eagle's Nest Pub and Grill from N. St. Peters Parkway.  Drivers needing to access James Chiropractic and other businesses west of the closure can use Central School Road, St. Peters Howell Road, Toelle Road and Harvest Drive to get to the businesses.

This is part of a $44 million project to extend Route 364 from east of Jungermann Road to west of Central School Road in St. Charles County. Crews will also construct outer roads and build bridges to carry Route 364 over Woodstone and Jungermann Roads and construct a bridge to carry Central School Road traffic over the new route. There are additional projects to extend Route 364 all the way to Mid Rivers Mall Drive. The project is scheduled to be complete in 2012.
