MoDOT to Close Two Lanes on Route 370

Route 370 is expected to receive more traffic when the Blanchette Bridge closes for construction in 2012, so MoDOT is adding a fourth lane in both directions.

Two lanes on Route 370 will be closed between St. Louis Mills Blvd. and Route 94 starting Wednesday so the Missouri Department of Transportation can re-stripe the Route 370 bridge to add a fourth lane in both directions.

Two lanes on Route 370 will be closed overnight, from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. Oct. 26 and 27 so crews can remove the striping on the road in both directions. Crews will close two lanes by 8 p.m. Oct 28 and the restriping work will be completed Oct. 29.

MoDOT will temporarily close the bike path accessing the bridge while the Blanchette Bridge work is underway, which is expected to take until 2013. Route 370 will return to three lanes in 2014, according to a news release.
