Winning $100,000 Lottery Ticket Sold in St. Peters

Joseph Saller, 57, won the prize in the Missouri Lottery's $1,000,000 Classic Cash game after picking up the ticket in St. Peters.

An O'Fallon man is $100,000 richer after finding a winning Missouri Lottery ticket in St. Peters. 

Joseph Saller, 57, picked up the big payday after one of his tickets in the "$1,000,000 Classic Cash" game came up as a $100,000 winner. According to a release from the Missouri Lottery, Saller lucked into the winning ticket by going into work on his day off.

Saller told the Lottery that his boss at the St. Peters Red Lobster asked him into work on his normal day off. After finishing work, he stopped a the Shop 'n Save at 100 Jungermann Road to cash in $20 worth of winning Lottery he tickets he had purchased on his way into work. He bought two more tickets and one came up a winner.

Saller told that Lottery he "started shaking" when he realized he had won. Saller, a father of three, called one his daughters to to tell her had won.

The next day he kept the ticket close, saying he was afraid to let it out of his sight.
