Rain Pushes Back Mexico Road Paving Project

Early rain on Tuesday delays paving until Wednesday, Dec. 14.

Mother Nature just wouldn't cooperate with the city of St. Peters.

that was slated to begin early Tuesday morning has now been pushed back. Rain is being blamed for the delay. Tentatively the project is set to start Wednesday, Dec. 14, assuming the weather plays nice.

City crews will be paving eastbound Mexico Road between Mid Rivers Mall Drive and Grand Teton Drive as part of the Mexico Road widening project. The southernmost eastbound lane on Mexico will be paved, weather permitting, and the lane will be closed from 6 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
