Rain, Snow and Freezing Drizzle Predicted for St. Peters

Winter storms predicted to hit St. Peters on Tuesday night.

The current winter has been one of the mildest in recent memory, but it's still winter.

Temperatures have dropped today and along with the need for extra layers, St. Peters residents may need to break out the snow shovel. Rain, snow and freezing drizzle are predicted to fall on St. Peters on Tuesday.

Rain and snow likely before midnight, then rain and snow likely, possibly mixed with freezing drizzle between midnight and 3 a.m, then snow likely, possibly mixed with freezing drizzle after 3 a.m. Cloudy, with a low around 27. North wind between 7 and 9 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60 percent. Little or no ice accumulation expected. Total nighttime snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible. 

The St. Charles County area is under a Hazardous Weather Outlook. According to the National Weather Service, slick spots will be possible on elevated roads.
