Sick of Snow? Easter Weekend to Hit the 60s

Easter Sunday's forecast for St. Peters is expected to be in 60s with the rest of Easter weekend looking rather warm as well.

Snow is fun. Until you realize it sticks around, turns into slush and creates a wet mess out of everything. 

Mother Nature dropped more than 10 inches of snow on the St. Peters-area over the weekend, causing businesses and schools to close.

According to The Weather Channel, temperatures are gradually expected to climb this week and eventually reach the 60s on Easter Sunday

  • Partly sunny, with a high near 38. Northwest wind around 10 mph; Tuesday night expected to be partly cloudy, with a low around 21. Northwest wind 5 to 8 mph becoming calm in the evening.

Wednesday

  • Mostly sunny, with a high near 44. Calm wind becoming west around 5 mph in the afternoon. Then mostly cloudy, with a low around 30 during the night.

Thursday

  • Mostly cloudy, with a high near 49. At nighttime, mostly cloudy, with a low around 36.

Friday

  • Partly sunny, with a high near 52. Then mostly cloudy, with a low around 36 at night.

Saturday

  • Partly sunny, with a high near 58. On Saturday night, a 30 percent chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 43.

Sunday

  • A 40 percent chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 61.
