Spencer Road Library Sneak Peak Event Postponed
The Library Foundation's early-opening event has been pushed back because of construction delays.
March 1 won't be the early opening of the new .
Because of construction delays related to the completion of the library, event won't happen on the scheduled date. Weather conditions are not favorable to allow asphalt to be poured for the parking area, and without the parking lot being completed the building can't receive its occupancy permit that will allow the St. Charles City-County Library District to open the building to the public.
The Library Foundation will announce a new date for the event once the contractor is able to begin the asphalt work.

Tickets purchased for the March 1 event will be honored for the new VIP Premiere date. Tickets are still available for the event and can be purchased online. If necessary, library advocates who cannot attend the rescheduled date may obtain a refund.
