St. Peters Closing Nob Hill Pool

The pool could become a small park.

The outdoor pool at Nob Hill is closing and there are no plans to re-open.

St. Peters is closing the pool on Sutters Mill Road off Jungermann Road this spring, citing decreasing revenue at the pool and the need for significant repairs to the pool. The Nob Hill was the smallest of St. Peters’ three outdoor pools, but the city said the pool accounted for 39% of the operational deficit to run those pools.

The pool could become a small park.  A small pavilion, playground equipment, restroom and multi-purpose court are features being considered for the 0.68-acre site.

People who used Nob Hill pool in the past are encouraged to instead use the pools at the Golf and Recreation Center or at Laurel Park. Another option is to hit up the indoor pools at the St. Peters Rec-Plex.

St. Peters residents with a valid Resident Privilege Card can receive St. Charles resident rates on St. Charles’ season-long pool pass as well as $1 off daily admission to Wapelhorst, Blanchette or McNair Park Aquatic Facilities, and an opportunity to purchase the St. Charles resident-only 10-visit swim pass as part of an agreement between the two cities.
