St. Peters Re-Opens Six Parks After Flood Concerns, 370 Lakeside Still Closed

With flood concerns over for most parks, the city has re-opened six that were closed last week.

Six St. Peters parks that were closed last week because of flooding concerns were re-opened on Tuesday. One park—370 Lakeside Park—is still shut down.

Woodlands Sports Park, Lone Wolff Park, Brown Road Park, Sports Center Park, Rabbit Run Park and St. Peters Golf Course had been closed since April 18 as an abundance of rain made bodies of water swell. As more rain fell Tuesday, the city re-opened the parks to the public.

While the six parks are now open, the seventh, 370 Lakeside Park remains closed until the threat of flooding has ended. The city will continue to monitor the situation and will issue updates as available.
