St. Peters Woman Fine After Three-Vehicle Crash on Highway 94

The crash took place just after 5 p.m. on Dec. 17.

A St. Peters woman avoided injury after a three-car crash Monday evening.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, three vehicles were on eastbound Highway 94 just west of Wolfrum Road in lane two at 5:20 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 17. Two of the vehicles, a 1998 Honda Civic driven by 16-year-old St. Charles resident Jessica Grimes and a 2010 Chevrolet Cobalt driven by 45-year-old St. Charles resident Alisha Rottger were stopped at a red light. The third vehicle, a 2004 Mercury Mountaineer driven by 28-year-old St. Peters resident Rebbecca Wilson, failed to stop in time.

Wilson's vehicle collided with the rear of Grimes' car. The impact caused Grimes' car to make contact with Wilson's.

Grimes, the middle car in the crash, was taken by St. Charles County Ambulance to Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Peters with minor injuries. Her vehicle had extensive damage.

The other two drivers were uninjured in the crash. Both vehicles had minor damage.

All three drivers were wearing a safety device.
