St. Peters Woman Uninjured in Four-Car Crash

St. Peters resident Vicky Fountain was unharmed in a Sunday afternoon crash on Interstate 70.

A St. Peters woman avoided injury in a four-vehicle crash on Sunday evening. 

The crash occurred at 4:45 p.m. on Sunday at the 168-mile marker on eastbound Interstate 70 in Montgomery County. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, A 2009 Toyota Corolla driven by Whitney Galloway, 29, of St. Louis, struck the rear of another car during the slowed traffic. Whitney Galloway's car then entered the driving lane and hit a 2005 Majestic Motor Home driven by Anthony Prough, 52, of Cedar Edge, Colorado. 

The initial car struck by Whitney Galloway was a 2005 Ford F150 driven by 60-year-old Centralia resident Floyd Galloway. Despite sharing the same last name, neither driver was related.

The impact of the collision on Floyd Galloway's truck propelled it forward and into the rear of another car, a 2008 Ford Taurus driven by St. Peters resident Vicky Fountain, 52. 

Only Whitney Galloway was injured in the crash. She was transported to St. Joseph Hospital in Lake Saint Louis with minor injuries. Her car was also totaled in the crash.
