The Daily Dose: Game 1 Edition

The Daily Dose is a look at the weather, what you may have missed and what's coming up on St. Peters Patch. This is the Oct. 19, 2011 edition.

Well here it is, Cardinal fans, Game 1 of the World Series.

At 7 p.m. tonight, the St. Louis Cardinals will take the Busch Stadium field for the opening of the World Series against the Texas Rangers. I'm almost positive St. Louis is going to shut down tonight while every man, woman and child watches the game. I could be wrong, but I don't think so.

I'll be watching, will you? Share your game day plans in the comments.
