The Daily Dose: Going to the World Series Edition

The Daily Dose is a look at the weather, what you may have missed and what's coming up on St. Peters Patch. This is the Oct. 17, 2011 edition.

Well the St. Louis Cards beat the Milwaukee Brewers 12-6 on Sunday night to advance to the World Series.

I keep looking at the sentence and it seems untrue. I've watched baseball for 26 years and this team is just unbelievable. The playoffs didn't seem lime a probability, but here the Cards are, in the World Series.

Here's the St. Peters weather outlook for today and Tuesday from the National Weather Service

Monday: A 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 1pm. Partly sunny, with a high near 61. Calm wind becoming north around 6 mph. 

Monday night: Occasional showers. Low around 41. North wind between 7 and 9 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%.

Tuesday: A 30 percent chance of showers before 1pm. Partly sunny, with a high near 56. Northwest wind between 7 and 15 mph. 

Tuesday night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 37. North wind between 8 and 10 mph.
