I was at a meeting on Thursday with the other St. Charles County Patch editors. None of us could believe that Monday marks the beginning of August. This year is just flying by.

Friday: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 1pm. Mostly sunny, with a high near 95. Heat index values as high as 106. West wind between 3 and 8 mph. 

Friday night: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 74. East wind between 5 and 8 mph. 

Saturday: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Partly sunny, with a high near 93. Heat index values as high as 101. Northeast wind between 6 and 8 mph.

Saturday night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 73. East wind between 5 and 7 mph. 

Sunday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 95. 

Sunday night: Mostly clear, with a low around 75.
