The Daily Dose: Not Quite Coming in Like a Lion Edition
The Daily Dose is a look at the weather, what you may have missed and what's coming up on St. Peters Patch. This is the March 1, 2012 edition.
With Leap Day in our rearview mirror, it's time to welcome in March.
There's an old saying that March comes in like a lion and out like a lamb. The old idiom usually means that the nasty winter weather appears at the top of the month, but my month's in the weather has turned more spring-like. I don't know about you, but Wednesday was a day in the 60s—albeit with morning storms and afternoon—and today is expected to be another nice day. March is coming in pretty lamb-like in 2012.
Anyway, let's get March started with today's Daily Dose.
