The Daily Dose: Photo of The Day Edition

The Daily Dose is a look at the weather, what you may have missed and what's coming up on St. Peters Patch. This is the Oct. 4, 2011 edition.

Welcome to a special edition of The Daily Dose.

After many weeks of doing this morning column, I've grown tired of looking at the stock Daily Dose image. Sure it's nice, but it just is missing something.

So, starting today, in place of the little graphic will be our new photo of the day. Today is just a picture I took of leaves changing color. However, I'd like to not be taking a new picture every day—I'm not that creative. That's where you, dear reader come in.

Snap a picture and send it in to be our picture of the day. If could be anything—your dog, your car, your children playing. Whatever it is that inpsires you, pull out your camera and take a picture. Send it along to stpeters(at)patch.com with a caption and it could be our picture of the day.

And now, let's get to The Daily Dose.
