Seasonal allergies are a pain.

For the last week-plus, my daily life has been a mix of sneezing, coughing and trying to breathe out my nose. Early Monday, I thought I had it beat. Monday night? Not so much. More cough drops, more Vicks and more tissues. Maybe the rain will wash away whatever it is that ails me.

But enough about me, let's get to another edition of The Daily Dose.

The Forecast

Here's the weather outlook for today and Wednesday from the National Weather Service

Tuesday: A chance of showers and thunderstorms, then thunderstorms likely after 1pm. Some of the storms could be severe. Cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly sunny, with a high near 82. East wind 10 to 16 mph becoming south. Winds could gust as high as 28 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60 percent.

Tuesday night: 
Thunderstorms before 1am, then a chance of showers after 1am. Some of the storms could be severe. Low around 45. South wind 14 to 17 mph becoming west. Chance of precipitation is 100 percent.

Wednesday: 
Mostly sunny, with a high near 56. Northwest wind around 15 mph, with gusts as high as 23 mph. 

Wednesday night: 
Partly cloudy, with a low around 39. North wind between 8 and 11 mph.

The Oklahoma City bombing took place on this day in 1995.  The blast killed 168 people in the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building.
