The Daily Dose: The August 11 Edition

The Daily Dose is a look at the weather, what you may have missed and what's coming up on St. Peters Patch. This is the Aug. 11, 2011 edition.

As much as we complain about the weather, it's only fair to praise Mother Nature when she delivers. Wednesday was one of those days.

Temperatures were warm, but not hot. There was a nice breeze and well, it was pretty perfect. I won't even complain about the afternoon rain burst—I'll take that any day of the week.

I don't know what happened to get weather like that, but I hope it continues. Summer, to me, has always ended when school starts back up. Seeing buses driving around St. Peters has got me wishing the dog days are in the past and high temperature will be falling. If only.
