The Daily Dose is a look at the weather, what you may have missed and what's coming up on St. Peters Patch. This is the Jan. 30, 2012 edition.

Sunday evening I was slowly making the transition from weekend mode to work when the news started to trickle in to the email inbox.

With his daughter returning to health, Republican presidential hopeful Rick Santorum was returning to the campaign trail. His first stop? St. Charles County. Monday was suddenly going to be a busy day. 

Today? Well it will be less busy, that's for sure. Let's start things off slowly with Tuesday's edition of The Daily Dose.

The Forecast

Here's the St. Peters weather outlook for today and Wednesday from the National Weather Service

Tuesday: Mostly cloudy, with a high near 64. Breezy, with a south wind between 14 and 23 mph, with gusts as high as 31 mph. 

Tuesday night: A 30 percent chance of showers before 4am. Cloudy, then gradually becoming partly cloudy, with a low around 42. Southwest wind 6 to 10 mph becoming north. 

Wednesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 56. North wind around 6 mph. 

Wednesday night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 35. North wind around 5 mph becoming calm.
