The Daily Dose: The Nov. 10 Edition

The Daily Dose is a look at the weather, traffic, what you may have missed and what's coming up on St. Peters Patch.

St. Louis lost one of its own sports legends, as "Easy" Ed Macauley died Thursday.

Macauley led St. Louis University to an NIT tournament title in 1948, when the NIT was the premier postseason tournament. He also led the St. Louis Hawks to an NBA title in 1958, was MVP of the league's first all-star game and was elected the Hall of Fame. Some remember him as the man Boston Celtics traded for Bill Russell.

His obituary was in newspapers across the country, from the New York Times to the Los Angeles Times.
