All good things must come to an end, and today marks the final day of the 2011 St. Charles County Fair. 

The fair opens at 9 a.m. and ends at 11:30 p.m. It is held in  in .

The last day of fun starts early with the baby contest and rooster crowing contest slated for 9 a.m. The demolition derby is the big event of the night.

Entry fees today are $15 for adults and $5 for children.

  • 9 a.m. — Baby contest in the entertainment tent
  • 9 a.m. — DockDogs competition
  • 9 a.m. — Rooster crowing contest (4-H members only)
  • 9:30 a.m. — Beef breeding judging
  • 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. — Kolb Exhibition Center open
  • 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. — Balloon artist in the entertainment tent
  • 10:30 a.m. — Frog race and turtle race in the entertainment tent
  • 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. — Caricaturist and face painting in the entertainment tent
  • 11 a.m. DockDogs competition
  • 12 p.m. — Nickle scramble and sack race in the entertainment tent
  • 12-4 p.m. — Carnival rides

  • 1-4 p.m. — S&S exotic petting zoo open
  • 1-5 p.m. — Butterfly house and kids fishing derby
  • 1-11 p.m. — Rappelling wall open

  • 4:30 p.m. — Texaco Country Showdown in the entertainment tent
  • 5-5:30, 6-6:30 and 7-7:30 p.m. — The Kincaid Puppets on the Stars and Stripes stage

  • 6 p.m. — Wool lead line
  • 6-11 p.m. — Carnival rides, butterfly house and kids fishing derby
  • 6-10 p.m. — S&S Exotic Petting Zoo
  • 7 p.m. — Demolition Derby
  • 7 p.m. — Lawnmower Derby
  • 7:30-11:30 p.m. — Project 324 in the entertainment tent.
