Traffic Signal at Salt Lick and Timberbrook Flashing Red Because of Electrical Malfunction

The needed repairs can't be made in rainty weather and, based on the current forecasts, the Traffic Department does not expect to make repairs until Friday, April 19.

A traffic singal at the intersection of of Salt Lick Road and Timberbrook Drive will be flassing red for the next few days.

An electrical surge, likely caused by the weather, on April 16 caused a malfunction to the signal south of Interstate 70 in St. Peters. Traffic in all directions will be required to stop until the weather permits permanent repairs to be completed.

The electrical surge also impacted the traffic signal at the Central County Fire and Rescue fire station on Salt Lick Road near Timberbrook. Usually that signal flashes green unless Central County is responding to the fire and the signal turns to red. The traffic signal will display flashing yellow until repairs can be made.
