Water Restored Along Mid Rivers Mall Drive

City crews restored water after a breakage earlier on Tuesday.

Water has been restored to customers along a portion of Mid Rivers Mall Drive after a City of St. Peters crew .

The water main break occurred on Mid Rivers Mall Drive this morning near the store at the intersection of Mid Rivers Plaza. Water customers were without water for about 90 minutes along both sides of Mid Rivers Mall Drive from Barnes & Noble north to the Bob Evans restaurant at Veterans Memorial Parkway. Workers had to shut down water service in this area in order to repair the 8-inch water main. Water was restored at about 12:15 p.m.

A contractor for the City of St. Peters hit the water main at the northwest edge of the intersection while trying to install a mast-arm base that will support traffic signals going in at Mid Rivers Mall Drive and Mid Rivers Plaza. This work is part of the Mid Rivers Mall Drive Resurfacing Project.
