Introducing Esse Health Pediatricians

Board-certified Esse Health pediatricians are pleased to become a part of the local Patch community and provide valuable tips and information for parents around the St. Louis area!

Whether you’re a first-time parent or celebrating the fourth birthday of your fourth child, parents are always looking for new information to help them raise happy, healthy children. Now, with a 24/7 news cycle, the Internet and social media, parents are finding their tips and information from other ways in addition to the traditional trip to the doctor. So the pediatricians at Esse Health are pleased to become a part of the local Patch community and provide valuable tips and information for parents around the St. Louis area.

Through this blog, local board-certified Esse Health pediatricians will identify some of the most frequent, and most difficult, topics that parents discuss with their pediatrician. We’ll be discussing topics for first-time parents, such as pertussis (whooping cough), calming your fussy baby, breastfeeding and daycare, to tips for handling those “terrible twos,” potty training, healthy eating and exercise for active children, and preparing for back to school. This blog will also cover hot topics parents may be facing with teenagers, like bullying, eating disorders, Internet addiction and making the transition from pediatric to adult care.

Throughout the year, we want to hear from you! We’re always eager to find out what you’re interested in learning from us, so we encourage you to leave comments on the blog or email us your questions and topic suggestions at cleffler@essehealth.com. Check back for our first post sometime next week when we’ll be discussing the health benefits of breastfeeding for mother and baby!

We look forward to helping you keep your children well!
