Angel of Hope Candlelight Vigil

St. Charles, MO - More than 1,000 parents will come together and honor the lives of their children who died too soon during a candlelight vigil starting at 7 p.m., Friday, December 6 at the Ben Rau Memorial Garden in Blanchette Park.

“It is a long, emotional journey for bereaved parents who walk the path from the loss of a child to regaining a sense of hope in their lives,” said Share executive director, Debbie Cochran. “We are proud to support bereaved parents every step of the way. Our candlelight vigil is a caring, supportive event where parents can celebrate the memory of their precious children with others who truly understand the experience.”

The Candlelight Vigil gives families who have experienced the loss of a child to gather with other parents and friends to remember their loved ones during the holiday season. Attendees are asked to bring an enclosed candle to light during the ceremony as well as a white flower to place at the base of the Angel of Hope statue in Blanchette Park.
