Charges Filed Against Convicted Sex Offender Connected to Missing Teen
According to a report on StlToday.com, Benjamin Kinkade, 27, of Wright City, has been charged with statutory rape.
Statutory rape charges have been filed against the convicted sex offender involved with a St. Charles County teen who went missing earlier this month.
According to a report on StlToday.com, Benjamin Kinkade, 27, of Wright City, has been charged with having sex with a 16-year-old girl. StlToday.com reports Kinkade is being held in St. Charles County jail in lieu of $50,000 bail.
Kinkade is a registered sex offender in Missouri. According to court documents, Kinkade entered a guilty plea on a charge of first degree statutory rape in 2005. He was convicted of statutory rape after having sex with a 12-year-old in 2002 when he was 17.

St. Peters Police were searching for Kinkade after he and a 16-year-old girl disappeared on Jan. 14. The girl was found nine days later by the Monroe County Sheriff's Department after relatives of Kinkade tipped them off.
Kinkade and the girl met while working at KFC in St. Peters.
