St. Peters Police said Jessica Sue Kinder also was driving while intoxicated.

A woman purposely struck another car and then refused to stop when officers tried to pull her over, police said.

Jessica Sue Kinder, 26, of the first block of St. Lawrence Drive in St. Peters, was charged July 1 with first-degree property damage, resisting arrest and driving while intoxicated.

St. Peters Police said Kinder was driving on Suemandy Drive near Mid Rivers Mall Circle and “intentionally struck the victim’s vehicle with hers,” damaging a 2002 Pontiac Grand Am.

Police said Kinder then refused to stop for a marked police car with its lights and siren activated. Officers said she ran several red lights and only stopped after getting caught in heavy construction traffic.

A Breathalyzer test indicated Kinder’s blood-alcohol content was 0.235 percent, according to a court document.
