Justice Center Offering Open House Tours

St. Peters will open the doors to the one-year-old facility on Sunday, Oct. 2.

The curious will get a chance to take an in-depth tour of the —and they won't need to be in handcuffs.  

Just a little more than a year after opening, the public is invited to take an inside peek at the Justice Center facility during an open house Sunday, Oct. 2. The Justice Center houses the St. Peters Police Deparment, the Municipal Court and Board of Aldermen meetings. The basement of the building is also the for the city. 

The Police Department will conduct tours between 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. during the event. Tours will be available on a first-come, first-served basis, with the last tour beginning at about 4:30 p.m. Refreshments will be served.

The goal of the tour is to give St. Peters' residents an opportunity for residents to see firsthand how St. Peters police carry out the duties of protecting and serving the community from within the state-of-the-art building. The facility has 50,000 square feet of space for police functions, doubling the size of the previous Police Department.
