The woman had a large cut on her forehead, and said Dodd punched her several times after they had argued.

Dodd told the deputy he picked up an ashtray and bumped a coffee mug his girlfriend was holding and cut her forehead. The deputy said there was no blood on the mug, but there was a cut on Dodd’s hand that was consistent with punching someone.

A juvenile and the woman said Dodd hit the woman several times, causing the cut and a bloody nose. The cut to the woman’s forehead required stitches, according to a court document.

Dodd posted $3,000, 10 percent of a $30,000 bond, and was released from St. Charles County jail Monday. He was ordered to have no contact with his girlfriend.
