Man Hits Woman Twice With Shoe, Threatens to Beat Her 'Up and Down Street'

Police said the man also took a handgun from her bedroom and threatened to kill her.

A St. Peters man hit a woman twice in the face with a shoe Nov. 5 and threatened to beat the woman “up and down the street until she was black and blue,” police said.

St. Peters Police said Brandon Beseda, 24, of the 2200 block of Bay Tree Drive in St. Peters, also threatened to kill the woman and took a handgun from her bedroom.

Prosecutors charged BesedaTuesday in St. Charles County Circuit Court with third-degree domestic assault.

The woman said Beseda has assaulted her in the past, and she had to leave her residence due to the violence and anger.

Police said in a report that Beseda believes someone is trying to kill him.

“Beseda has been physically violent in the past and is progressively getting worse with his anger and paranoia,” according to court documents.

Bail was set at $10,000, cash only.
