Police: Bruises Found on 2-Year-Old Child Spanked By Babysitter

The following information was supplied by the St. Peters Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Child Abuse

  • The suspect spanked a 2-year-old male child at in-home daycare in the 6000 block of Mexico Road. The child had bruising, but did not need medical attention. A warrant application was made through St. Charles County Prosecuting Attorney's Office for Child Abuse.

Felony Stealing

  • An unknown person stole a firearm from victim's vehicle overnight in the 100 block of Timberridge Drive.  The vehicle was parked in the garage, but the garage was left open. There are no suspects at this time.
