Police Blotter: Couple Swipes Cell Phones, iPad from Best Buy

The following information was supplied by the St. Peters Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Assault

  • An assault involving two juveniles occurred at Francis Howell North High School. The juvenile was referred to family court and there were no injuries to the juvenile victim.
  • No prosecution desired by all parties involved after police responded to an assault in the 1200 block of Garden Valley Drive. The victim was punched in an apartment after she and acquaintance got into a verbal disagreement. No injuries to any parties involved. 

Felony Stealing

  • A 27-year-old male and 23-year-old female were arrested for stealing two cell phones and an iPad, totaling more than $1,000 from the 500 block of Mid Rivers Mall Circle, Best Buy. Both subjects were arrested and property was recovered and returned to the business. A warrant application is pending at St. Charles County Prosecuting Attorney's Office.
