Police: Family Believes Drug-Habit Led to Silver Theft

The following information was supplied by the St. Peters Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Burglary

  • An ex-boyfriend unlawfully entered victims residence in the first block of Alderwood Lane when she was gone and damaged property and stole jewelry. The ex-boyfriend admitted to the damage and theft, and returned stolen item. The victim refused to prosecute.

Felony Stealing

  • Silver was stolen from victim’s residence in the 300 Windsor Place. Victim believed a family member was responsible due to their drug addictions. She refused to prosecute and did not want further investigation.
