Police Reports: Thieves Hit Unlocked Cars at Vanderbilt Apartment Complex

A 41-year-old woman and another accomplice switched price tags on merchandise purchased at Wal-Mart on Jungermann Road and left with items they paid a lower value for, according to Police. The incident happened Sept. 11.

Eight trailers were stolen off of a business lot in the 1000 block of Turner Blvd. sometime after May 18 in an unknown time frame. The trailers were reported missing Sept. 16.

Thieves hit several unlocked vehicles in an apartment complex parking lot in the 1400 block of South Carnegie Drive around 5 p.m. Sept. 17. The items stolen include a GPS unit, wallet with credit cards, currency and sunglasses.

A cell phone was stolen from a gym locker room in the 8000 block of Mexico road Sept. 18. Police recovered the phone and took a juvenile into custody who was later released to parents.
