Police Reports: Woman Assaulted by Boyfriend

St. Peters police reports from Aug. 11 to 17 include kidnapping, stealing and a man who crashed into a MoDOT junction box.

An 18-year-old suspect physically assaulted his 19-year-old girlfriend on Aug. 14 by strangling her repeatedly. The incident occurred in the 100 block of Turnberry Place. The woman did not require medical attention.

Kidnapping

Police are investigating a report of a woman who took her two children to another state without their father's permission and is now refusing to return.

Stealing

  • Wire racks, used to store donuts, were placed behind a business in the 6000 block of Mexico Road in the morning and were stolen a few hours later. No suspects or witnesses were reported.
  • A woman left a gas station in the 300 block of Salt Lick Road on Aug. 13 after trying to pay for her gas with an EBT card. After the card was not accepted, she left the station without trying to pay in another way.
  • A former employee reportedly stole thousands of dollars in lawn care equipment from a business in the 200 block of Indacom Drive overnight Aug. 14.

Assualt

  • An elderly man with a documented cognitive disorder reportedly became upset and threatened a family member around 9 p.m. Aug. 12 in the 100 block of Saravalle Drive. Police responded and transported the man to the hospital for a medical evaluation.
  • Police responded to a report of an assault on Aug. 13 at 10 p.m. at a bar in the 4000 block of Old Highway 94.
Property Damage
  • A house in the 6800 block of Mexico Road was broken into on Aug. 14 by tenants who used to live there. The tenants broke in to retrieve more property after being evicted.
DWI
  • A 28-year-old man hit a MoDOT junction box, causing significant damage on Aug. 15 at 1:51 a.m. The man was arrested for a DWI.
Drugs
  • Police arrested at 17-year-old who was found in possession of synthetic marijuana around 12 p.m. Aug. 15 in the 600 block of First Executive Avenue.
Burglary
  • Someone entered a house in the 900 block of Millwood Drive and stole prescription medication and cash on Aug. 16. No forced entry was found.
