St. Peters Area Man Indicted on Sex Crimes with Young Girl

Police said the man had sexual contact with a 5-year-old girl three times in 2008.

A man was indicted Friday by a St. Charles County grand jury on three counts of statutory sodomy for having sexual contact with a 5-year-old girl.

St. Charles Police said Thomas Louis Watkins, 30, of the 4100 block of Chisholm Trail in St. Charles County near St. Peters, had sexual contact with the girl on three occasions between February 2008 and November 2008. The contact occurred while he was watching a pornographic video in a St. Charles home.

He is being held in St. Charles County jail on a $75,000, cash-only bond.
