St. Peters Driver's Car Damaged After Bad Lane Change

A St. Peters man was uninjured after colliding with another driver on Interstate 70.

A St. Peters man avoided injury despite his car being struck by another car changing lanes. 

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Jeremy Tillman, 27, of St. Peters, was heading westbound on Interstate 70 just west of Mid Rivers Mall Drive on Friday afternoon. Tillman's 1996 Lincoln Town Car was in lane No. 3. A second car, a 1991 Chevrolet Silverado, driven by Gary Ferguson attempted to change lanes and the front Tillman's car struck the rear of Ferguson's. 

Tillman's car was extensively damaged, but he was unharmed in the crash. Ferguson, however, was take by St. Charles County Ambulance to St. Joseph Health Center in Lake Saint Louis. His injuries were listed as minor.

Both drivers were wearing safety devices in the crash.
