St. Peters Man Assaulted Woman, Threatened Her With Handgun, Police Say
Randy Scott Salmons was charged with assault, unlawful use of a weapon and endangering a child.
A St. Peters man assaulted a woman in his home Aug. 20 and threatened the woman with a firearm, according to St. Peters Police
Randy Scott Salmons, 47, of the first block of Sugar Leaf Drive in St. Peters, was charged Aug. 21 with third-degree assault, unlawful use of a weapon and endangering a child.
St. Peters Police spokesperson Officer Melissa Doss said Salmons shares a home with his sister, who had a friend over on Aug. 20. Salmons argued with his sister and the woman, then struck the friend and threatened her with a Smith and Wesson revolver, police said.

Salmons’ 12-year-old niece got in the way as Salmon’s was threatening the woman with the handgun, Doss said.
Salmons is being held in St. Charles County jail. Bail was set at $25,000, and is to have no contact with the victims.
