St. Peters Man Charged With Domestic Assault

Kyle Michael Stone was charged with domestic assault in the second degree, a felony and domestic assault in the third degree, a misdemeanor, on June 10.

Kyle Michael Stone was charged with domestic assault in the second degree, a felony and domestic assault in the third degree, a misdemeanor, on June 10.

Stone’s address was listed as the Extended Stay America hotel in St. Peters and his date of birth was listed as just 1986 in court records.

St. Charles County Prosecuting Attorney charged Stone with assaulting a woman he knew at the hotel on June 6.

Stone told the woman that he was going to kill her, held her down and choked her until she lost consciousness, according to a probable cause statement signed by Tim Snaveley of the St. Peters Police Department.

The victim said she told Stone she was leaving him and tried to exit the hotel room. She had a bruise on her right forearm where she was held, according to the statement.

Bond was set at $35,000, cash only. 

A case review hearing is set for June 16 at 9 a.m.
