St. Peters Man Kicked in Neighbor's Door, Burglarized Apartment, Police Say

Shannon M. Zeiss is charged with stealing two televisions and a Wii game system.

A St. Peters man is accused of kicking in his neighbor’s apartment door and stealing several items on Friday.

Shannon Zeiss, 33, of the 700 block of Highlands Hill Court in St. Peters, was charged Monday with second-degree burglary and felony stealing.

St. Peters Police said Zeiss stole two televisions and a Wii game system from his neighbor’s apartment. The items are valued at a total of $1,054.

Zeiss was arrested for the crime Saturday. He is being held in St. Charles County jail. Bail was set at $15,000.
