St. Peters Man Pleads Guilty To Abuse Charge After Slapping His Wife in Public

Police said Clinton Weil slapped his wife and verbally abused her June 15 at a St. Peters business.

A St. Peters man was accused of hitting his wife June 15 and pleaded guilty to the charge five days later.

Clinton Weil, 66, of the 400 block of Sutters Mill Road in St. Peters, pleaded guilty June 20 to third-degree domestic assault.

Weil was placed on two years probation and is to have no unlawful contact with his wife.

St. Peters Police said Weil slapped his wife and verbally abused her at a business at 343 Mid Rivers Mall Drive. His wife told police the abuse is an ongoing part of their relationship.
