St. Peters Police Blotter: Counterfeit $1 Bill Given as Change for Self-Checkout Machine

Also in the St. Peters crime report, $3,700 was fraudulently wired from a person's bank account.

The following are selected reports from the St. Peters Police Department.

• Incident No. 31366: Identity theft, 1st block of Madrid Court. From Dec. 17, 2012. An unknown person fraudulently wired approximately $3,700 from victim's bank account while he was out of town. There are no suspects at this time.

• Incident No. 31391: Counterfeiting, 500 block of Mid Rivers Mall Drive. From Dec. 17, 2012. The customer received a counterfeit one dollar bill from the self-checkout change dispenser. It is unknown when and where the money was originally received.
