St. Peters Police Blotter: Damaged Cars and Stolen Phones Edition

The following are selected reports provided by the St. Peters Police Department.

The following are selected reports from the  from January 2012.

• Incident No. 1170: Property damage, first block of Gateswood Drive. Chain-link fence damaged by unknown person(s).  It appeared the unknown person attempted to climb over the chain link fence, breaking it in the process.

• Incident No. 1243: Property damage, 4500 block of Towne Court. Two vehicles damaged on business parking lot. No suspects.

  • First vehicle: 1998 Chevrolet 3500
    • Both front tires were punctured: $400
    • The driver's door mirror was broken: $75
    • The upper area of the passenger side of the windshield was broken: $200
  • Second vehicle: 1996 Chevy 3500
    • Front passenger tire was punctured: $200
    • The driver's door mirror was broken: $75

• Incident No. 1255: Stealing, 3600 block of North St. Peters Parkway. An i Phone was stolen from restaurant.  Victim left phone on table for approximately five minutes. Upon returning, the phone was gone.

• Incident No. 1267: Stealing, 4000 block of Veterans Memorial Parkway. Approximately $1,000 worth of various items stolen from business. Active investigation.

• Incident No. 1333: Stealing, 200 block of Cardinal Place. Active investigation involving theft of money.

• Incident No. 1340: Stealing, 1600 block of Jungermann Road. Victim’s purse, with contents, was stolen or lost while shopping at Walmart.

• Incident No. 1351: Stealing, 800 block of Carriage Hill Drive. More than $7,000 worth of various household items/furniture are missing from the residence. The victim had moved out of residence and bank changed locks on house. Victim returned to residence to retrieve belongings and discovered her items were missing. No forced entry. Active investigation.

• Incident No. 1428: Burglary, first block of Canterbury Park Drive. Damage to front door of residence. It appears unknown person(s) attempted to force entry on house. Nothing was missing from residence and there are no suspect(s) at this time.

• Incident No. 1455-Stealing, first block of El Caballo Drive. Victim’s debit card was stolen from residence by family member. Approximately $100 was missing from account. A suspect was arrested and released pending application of warrants through St. Charles County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.

• Incident No. 1486: Stolen auto, 200 block of I-70 Service Road. Vehicle was sold to suspect, but the suspect never paid for vehicle and did not return vehicle to victim. Victim has been unable to locate the vehicle. The vehicle is described as a 1994 Honda Accord. Suspect is currently incarcerated on unrelated issue.  Warrants to be applied for through St. Charles County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.

• Incident No. 1624: Stealing, 2000 block of Mid Rivers Mall. A wallet containing $500 in cash was stolen from store within the .  The wallet was found a day later on Suemandy Drive. Cash was missing from wallet, but ID and other reported items were still in the wallet.
