St. Peters Police Blotter: Five Vehicles Broken Into, iPod, Laptop and a Purse Stolen

Also in the St. Peters crime report, a business is accused of forgery.

The following are selected reports from the St. Peters Police Department.

• Incident No. 27190: Felony stealing, 4000 block of Veterans Memorial Parkway. Five vehicles werebroken into on a business parking lot. Three of the vehicles had forced entry (shattered windows or punched locks). The other two vehicles were left unlocked (confirmed by vehicle owners). Among the items stolen were: two iPods, a laptop computer, cash money, and a purse containing various items, including debit card. There are no suspects at this time, but it is an active investigation.

• Incident No. 27225: Forgery, 4100 block of Mexico Road. Active investigation.  Business checks were written fraudulently to avoid the business being taxed.
