St. Peters Police Blotter: Police Search for Hospital Thieves
Five vehicles at Barnes-Jewish St. Peters Hospital had the locks "punched" enabling items inside to be taken.
The following are selected reports from the .
• Incident No. 14134: Property damage/stealing, . Unknown person(s) stole numerous items after entering five vehicles on hospital parking lot. There was a forced entry on all vehicles. The suspects “punched” the locks on the vehicles to obtain items inside. Among the items stolen were checkbooks, debit/credit cards, GPS unit, cash, purses and wallets. The suspects were seen on surveillance occupying a small black two-door vehicle. One suspect was a black male wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt.
• Incident No. 14138: Property damage/stealing, 4000 block of Veterans Memorial Parkway. Related to above incident. Victim’s vehicle was “punched” as well. Stereo with GPS/DVD, valued at $900, was stolen.

• Incident No. 14254: Stealing, 4400 block of I-70 Service Road. Unknown person(s) stole two air filters and air filter housing from tractor truck which was parked on business parking lot. The value of the stolen items is unknown.
• Incident No. 14406: Stealing, 1600 block of Jungermann Road. The suspect forcefully took purse from elderly woman on business parking lot. Suspect was described as a white male, approximately 25 years old, with a possible goatee. Suspect got away with an undisclosed amount of cash and credit/debit cards.
