St. Peters Police Blotter: Student Arrested for Stealing Teacher's Cell Phone

Also in the St. Peters crime report, rings were stolen from a jewelry store.

The following are selected reports from the St. Peters Police Department.

• Incident No. 01678: Felony stealing, 600 block of First Executive Ave. A 17-year-old male student stole teachers cell phone, valued at $550, from the teacher's desk. The phone was later recovered after student tried hiding it. It was returned to the victim and the student was arrested for felony stealing and a warrant application is pending.

• Incident No. 01787: Felony stealing, 2000 block of Mid Rivers Mall. Numerous rings were stolen from jewelry store after the suspect distracted a store clerk. Only description is four males wearing hats and dark clothing.
