St. Peters Police Blotter: Suspect Assaults, Ties Up Roommate Before Fleeing

Also in the St. Peters crime report, two lockers were broken into at the St. Peters Rec-Plex.

The following are selected reports from the St. Peters Police Department.

• Incident No. 27755: Stealing felony, 5200 block of Mexico Road. An unknown person(s) removed locks from two separate lockers at the St. Peters Rec-Plex, stealing the victim’s wallets. There are no suspect(s) at this time. 

• Incident No. 27781: Assault/Felonious Restraint/Tampering, 400 block of South Church Street. A male victim was beaten by his roommate after a verbal
argument. The suspect tied up the victim and fled the area in victim's vehicle. Neighbors called police after hearing victim calling for help. The victim was treated for non-life threatening, but serious injuries.

The suspect was located in St. Louis County, arrested and is currently at an undisclosed hospital for unrelated issues. Charges have been issued through St. Charles County Prosecuting Attorney's Office.
